Welcome! I'm Yas, an LA-based mixed-media artist.

I’ve always loved creating art that connects with people and reflects the things I’m passionate about. My journey started with drawing and creating tattoo flash for friends. Over time, I expanded to painting surfboards, motorcycle helmets, and murals, which led me to a rewarding career in the 3D/VFX industry. For over 20 years, I’ve worked on commercials, video games, movies, and TV shows—all while continuing to explore my personal artistic style.

What Inspires My Work

My art is a reflection of my hobbies and interests—photography, wildlife, surfing, playing the guitar, and music. I’m inspired by the beauty of nature, bold colors, and intricate patterns. Combining traditional Asian influences with modern techniques, I aim to create art that is vibrant, meaningful, and uniquely my own.
